Team Leader: Karen Ritchey, Interim

Rock of Ages is a caring community that reaches out in many ways to share Christ’s love and compassion to all people.
The purpose of the Mission Outreach Team is to seek opportunities to share our time, talents and resources with those in need in our community and throughout our nation and world.
We develop ecumenical partnerships in our community; support programs, events, ministries and services that address the needs of those we are called to serve; provide opportunities for members and friends of the congregation to participate first-hand in social service projects; provide awareness of local and world-wide benevolence concerns and our response to those concerns; and urge financial support for local benevolence, Lutheran and community agencies that meet the needs of the community.
We invite you to join us in our work. Our Team typically meets the third Friday of each month at 9:30 a.m. Check the calendar for any updates of changes. Currently, we are involved with the following ministries:
Bless Wildwood – Support local schools and teachers. Click here to learn more.
The Refuge at Jumper Creek – The Refuge provides emergency and transitional housing for families in need as well as a food pantry, clothing and household needs. A yard sale barn accepts donations and is open to the community. Rock of Ages supports these efforts by collecting non-perishable food and household items.
