There is ample parking on all sides of the handicap friendly building. As you enter you will be greeted at the welcome table where you will receive a nametag (we want to get to know you!)and a friendly greeting. We ask that you sign the guest register so that we can make a connection with you after worship (no commitments – we simply want to share more information with you)
Next you will enter the Fellowship Hall where we share refreshments (and on the last Sunday of the month, a pot-luck lunch!) and conversation again after the worship service is over.
The 200 seat sanctuary is well lit and affords excellent views from any location. Our state-of-the-art audio/visual system makes participation in our reverent and relevant worship convenient for all. Worship services are a blend of both traditional and more current elements with an emphasis on comfortable participation. If desired, we have individual hearing assist devices. Just inform an usher and one will be supplied.
The congregation is comprised of people from many different faith experiences, traditions and locations around the country. A large portion of the membership resides in The Villages, the largest 55+ community in the world. The area around ROA is growing rapidly along with The Villages. As much as one third of the congregation are “snowbirds” who head north after Easter and return in the Fall. You are very likely to meet people from your hometown!
